We are now looking to expand our Graphene team with one more amazing colleague!

The deep tech area is moving fast and standardisation is part of successful commercialization of innovations. “European Green Deal” and “New Industrial Strategy for Europe”, as well as the geopolitical environment, call for a strong Swedish/EU presence in international standardisation development. Thus, we are looking for a professional ready to contribute to standardisation and support positioning Sweden/EU as global standard-setter. At Chalmers Industriteknik, we are working with new standards within deep tech; especially 2D materials, semiconductors and quantum technology, and are looking for a new colleague to grow our standardisations team.

The position includes:

• Working in research and innovation projects, including applying for future funding
• Leading in activites where standardisation is part of innovation
• Identifying specific areas worth of new standards / revised standards
• Attending national and international standardisation meetings (SIS, ISO and IEC).
• Attracting and executing commercial assignments within your area of expertise

The position requires a broad understanding of market sectors, value chains, customer groups and technology suppliers. We appreciate experience from previous standardisation work and the ability to manage several different projects at the same time.

Desired qualifications and abilities:

• a technical background, at least MSc but PhD is preferred
• experience in working with the creation of new standards at a national, European or International level
• expertise in deep tech, preferably 2D materials, semiconductors and/or quantum technology
• good understanding of industry requirements and needs
• good communication skills
• experience in project and/or innovation management
• excellent team player
• fluent in english - swedish is not a must, just as long as you have the interest in learning

Form of employment: Permanent, starting with a 6-month probation period
Location: Gothenburg, next to Chalmers in Johanneberg. We offer a hybrid working model
